A song everybody should like

Ceelo cheered me up this fine Saturday morning. After a long night of chilling with mu family and hanging out with my musical family (Villanova) I made it back to my crib at 6:30 am. I was supposed to be up early enough to get with my man DJ June to do some filming but I woke up late, well 11:00 am. Anyway I got a text to go listen to this song and I was so amused I decided to pass it along.

Ali Rah

I know B-Boys cuz I studied the culture and Ali Rah is just that. He's live with the shows and straight forward with the message. He controls the crowd and at any given moment after he rocks his shows if there are any B-Boys in the house, he'll get it in with them. If you ever see someone do a show then breakdance for the crowd you already know......and my man does that. Shout out to Hip Hopkins, SC.

Get Off Dat Bullsh!t

They do bulls so wrong in my opinion, but this one says to hell with that. Ya'll want a show.

Liberia....Americans are soft (imo)

Cruising through some blogs I ran accross this. It's not for the faint hearted still these guys documented it. It's not a quick video either, so if you want to see it take a minute and view it. All I can say is damn.

Think Twice!!!!

(CNN) -- A decision on who is eligible to run for president in Haiti has been postponed until Friday, leaving hip-hop artist Wyclef Jean and the other presidential hopefuls in limbo, said Berto Dorce, Jean's lawyer.

Haiti's election commission was scheduled to make a decision Tuesday night.

Jean's eligibility was under question after claims that he has not lived in Haiti for five consecutive years before the election, a mandate in the nation's Constitution.

Jean's lawyer said his client meets that criteria.

"His candidacy has been contested and we went to court and proved that he is legally entitled to run for president," Dorce said. "Jean's position is pretty strong. He should be on the list."

Dorce said Jean has been paying taxes in Haiti, which makes him eligible.

"Wyclef has been a shareholder of the local TV corporation called Telemax, and was paying taxes at least for five years; this was sufficient for the Justice of the Peace to issue a certificate of residence for Mr. Wyclef and confirm his residency," Dorce said.

Video: Wyclef wants to be president Jean announced August 5 on "Larry King Live" amid fanfare that he had filled out the paperwork to run for president.

But since then, Jean's announcement has met with some criticism.

Pras, who once performed alongside Jean and Lauryn Hill in the '90s group The Fugees, said he supported Jean's opponent.

Actor Sean Penn, who has lived in Port-au-Prince for months helping displaced Haitians, also questioned whether the Haitian-born musician could make moves to lead the devastated nation.

And now, Jean said he has received multiple death threats.

"We have been getting threats since last night telling me if I know what's good for me, I would get out [of] the country," Jean wrote in an e-mail to CNN late Tuesday.

Jean's lawyer also talked about the alleged threats.

"Wyclef has been repeatedly getting anonymous threats from people who are saying that he should think twice before running for the president. We cannot tell who are sending these threats, but the closer the announcement, the more threats Jean is getting," Dorce said.

My Dude Unknown

My brother, and 1 fifth of the gift Un doing his thing with the paint. My dude is so ill with the pen he once did a stipple piece and I saw it when it only had an eyebrow, an eye, and just the skin around them. With so little of the picture complete I looked at it and ask him if it was going to be Bob Marley. He said "Yeah". Talk about detail, he's that good. I saw an unfinised picture and knew who it would be. SouF Crack stand up.

Badu with the Bad Ass..(so beautiful)

(CNN) -- Erykah Badu must pay a $500 fine and serve six months on probation for her naked stroll through downtown Dallas, Texas, while making a music video last March, a city official confirmed Tuesday.

Badu reached a plea deal to settle a misdemeanor disorderly conduct citation issued after she released a music video, according to Dallas spokesman Jose Torres.

The singer shed her clothes as she walked through Dealey Plaza until she was nude and then fell near where President John F. Kennedy was assassinated.

Badu said the video was "shot guerrilla style," without a crew and in one take March 17, 2010.

Badu then posted a message on her Twitter account acknowledging that "there were children there." She said she prayed they wouldn't be traumatized by seeing her naked.

It wasn't until several days after the video for the song "Window Seat" was released on March 28 that anyone who witnessed the taping filed a complaint with Dallas Police. Only then did police issue a citation against Badu.

Under the plea agreement, the offense will be erased from Badu's criminal record if she successfully completes the 180 days probation.

"If she violates any law at the city, state or federal level, a motion to adjudicate (seeking to revoke probation) will be filed," Torres said. "If the motion to adjudicate is granted, Ms. Badu will have a criminal conviction."

Throw back material

Shout out to these two guys. I've been blessed enough to work with both these guys. Al One and Lyrikal Buddah who form Sacred Methods together and they can both do the damn thing on the solo tip. I featured Lyrikal Buddah on a project I did back in the day called The Art of Sampling, Al One was supposed to be on it but for some reason or another that never materialized but I still named the instrumental track after him because he was supposed to be on sh*t (lol). I went on and was able to produce two joints for Lyrikal Buddah and look forward to working with him in the future so stay tuned.

Rachel Maddow with the Chill Bill Pill

Ever since I first seen Rachel Maddow I dug her style and she gets two thumbs up for this one.

Back On It

Yeah, I know....I haven't been on it like I should. Save me the talk because I can read some of my first posts and clearly see my progress on the blog has been like that of an attic on the street with the dope fiend lean.

It's a bit of a crossroads for me because I wonder where all this is going to take your boy, but now is grind time. The release date for the album will be a cool one for me seeing as I will release it on my birthday. Another reason I'm back on it is because my man DJ June made it back from overseas and he's pretty much been one of the motivational cats in my corner. So shout out to him and the rest of the crew.

There's more in store but for now here's an unreleased joint. I'm out.
